Hi.
After struggling to get the system booted under RH6.0, I find that fdisk
does not seem to be functioning properly. I have been following the
instructions from the Compaq ActiveAnswers web site but these don't seem to
work.
fdisk appears to create partition extents with cylinder numbers I do not
enter. For example, if I try to create BSD partition a from 3-50 it does
that. However, if I try to create partition b from 51-1024 it assigns to
some inconsistent range.
Either fdisk is not working or I am missing something big.
Anyone have any ideas?
cheers.
