The AS2100 work. IIRC in the 2.1.x series kernels you had separate kernels for EV4 and EV5 cpus. I do not know the status of AS2100 on the newer kernels. The AS2100A last I heard were not linux friendly yet. I have heard of success on the AS4100 but do not know the particulars. Our AS4100 all run Tru64 or OpenVMS. Good luck.

Greetings,
We have several AS2100 and two AS4100 machines in our shop currently
and my management is interested in running Linux on some of them.
I've seen a lot of traffic here about other Alpha platforms but
nothing about these two.
Does RH Linux run on either of these platforms? And more importantly:
will it run in SMP mode?
Thanks,
