DE-422 Ethernet on Jensen

Does anyone have experience using a DE-422 Ethernet card on the
Jensen? The Jensen hangs when I try to bring the Ethernet card up,
however, the kernel recognizes it and the IRQ and I/O do not conflict
with anything else are are visible from /proc filesystem.

I think the problem is either the jumper is wrong (ie. don't know whether
it's using the BNC or UTP connector) or I need to set something up
in SRM (I seem to recall this is what's required but don't know the
specifics).

If anyone can help me to get this going, I'd appreciate it.
