Something like HyperTerminal

At work I'm setting up Switches and Routers using the console cable (back of
device -> 9-pin serial on computer).  On NT I used Hyperterminal to talk to
the device.  Is there a GUI app (for Gnome possibly?) that will do the same
thing..?
