Consider this an AOL...
$ uname -a

$ uptime
4:36pm up 6 days, 20:42, 3 users, load average: 0.00, 0.05, 0.13
My memory loss rate doesn't seem to be as bad as yours, but both the phyisical memory and swap seem to be slowly running out.
