Ok, so I downlaoded/installed make and everything else that goes with
it...(except I couldn't find makeinfo). When I try to compile a program
everything is "found" except makeinfo. When it says:
Checking gcc.. found
Checking if gcc works.. no
Do I need a path in my .bash_profiles file? If I type gcc in xterm I get
"gcc: No input files". So it obviously is there.. sorry for the lameness,
but FreeBSD included all of this as part of the OS. I guess it's good to
learn the hard way..
Thanks,
Mark
