Well syslogd is ok here.. and I'm running Debian...

I also had no problems with previous kernels, though I didn't let 2.2.12 run for very long before upgrading to 2.2.13.

My phyisical memory seems to have stopped, but my swap looks like it went a little more today.
I'll wait and see if it goes any further, maybe its something else.. like X, its been running as long as the kenrel has (xdm). I've also haven't logged out locally since the last reboot (I use screen locking tools) so that opens up a few more possibilities...
