Hi, everyone,
I know that there is a booting partition offset limit for old BIOS of
i386. Is there such a limitation as that for Alpha?
I just found I could not boot a partition whose offset is about 10GB
from hard disk. BSD label and the three partitions are found, then aboot
complains the ext2 magic number is not correct. However, I can use floppy
to boot without problem.
Any ideas?
sincerely yours
Xiaozhou Qiu
