Hi everyone,
OSS works on the Alpha, with the caveat that the hardware must be
"alpha-ready". A great deal of sound cards make some 32-bit assumptions
and don't play well in 64-bit land.
Sound cards I've worked with:
SB32 (_NOT_ PnP)
SB16Value (Vibra16x chip, PnP)
Some clone Crystal Semi. cards
Built-in sound on Personal Workstations (500a[u]/600a[u])
Let me know about any others you've gotten to work reliably.
