The Trio64 works very well.
Having said that, however, there are 2 small things that might make it 
problematic:
1) These are now quite scarce. The chips have been out of production for 
quite a while.
2) It's slow, by todays standards.

Good news: When they can be found nowadays a 4MB one costs about $40 or less.
