x Windows Questions..

Hello -

I'm new to Linux.  I have an AS/200 4-233. 144 mb memory, standard config.

I have a couple questions about x windows.

Question 1.

I have installed RH 6.0 and booted the machine the second time.

I need to run the file copy to copy linload.exe and milo to the DOS
partition for booting without a floppy.

I selected x Windows to boot with Linux.

How can I exit x Windows and return to the prompt to copy files from
diskette to the DOS milo partition?

Question 2.

I have tried to run various programs from x Windows without success.

I select <start> <programs> <games> <select> and nothing happens.

I hear the disk reading something, but no programs are displayed on the
screen.

I ahve tried about every program on the menu without success.
