which flavor of linux to buy?

I'm new to this list having been and currently a member of the AlphaNT list.
Which of the the many flavors of linux works best with current alpha
hardware?  I have a Personal Workstation 433a that I plan to install linux
on.  At the moment I am torn between RH6 and SuSE 6.1.
