RE: PC64 Cabrilolet hardware

Not sure about the Cabriolet (PC64), but I have PC164 and SX164 hardware,
and the 3c905B works on both of them (need to compile the card support into
the kernel for it to work though!. I've had no problems with the DEC21143PC
cards as well. But the newer revision based on 21143PD chipset doesn't seem
to work. At least not on RH5.2.

For video cards, the Matrox Mill II works, as you mentioned. I also use
cards based on the Permedia II chips, eg Creative Blaster Extreme, Elsa
Gloria Synergy. S3Virge cards are known to work also, from what I've read.
Permedia II chipset cards will require the latests version of XFree86 to
work. The stock XFree86 supplied with RH5.2 does not have Permedia II
drivers. But it is quite straightforward to get the later rpm from the
RedHat ftp (or mirror) sites.

Rgds.
