Upgrading firmware Q

Greetings,

I've done this before but IIRC it was esoteric then and I can't seem to
find any documentation on it now.  All the docs I've seen only mention
upgrading from CD or using DOS in some way to make a boot disk.  I don't
have a CD, and I don't have any DOS computer.  All I have is the
as200_v7_0.sys file.  I tried dd'ing it directly to floppy, but of course,
it would not be that simple, no?  What do I need to do to build a bootable
upgrade floppy from Linux?
