Problem to start X on an AlphaStation 255 4/266

Hi,

I have just installed the Linux RedHat 6.0 distribution on my
AlphaStation 255 4/266. I haven't had any problem until I tried to configure X
to run. Under Dec Unix, I have the following messages about my video card :
    - tga0: depth 8, map size 2MB, 1280x1024
    - tga0: ZLXp2-E, Revision: 34

When I run "cat /proc/pci", it comes up with "VGA compatible controller: DEC
TGA2 (rev 34)"

I have tried to configure X with the TGA server and when X starts, it fails with
 the error: Fatal server error: No screen found.

The monitor that I have is a EIZO FlexScan F77S.

If anybody can give me a hand.....
