I have a rather unstable DS-10, i.e. not able to make it through a
gcc-2.95.1 compile without hanging hard.
It's running redhat-6.0 + kernel compiled by the vendor 2.2.12.
Any suggestions for the maximum stability? I'd like to make sure
it's the hardware thats the problem and not the kernel or the compiler
used to compile it. I can compile on older (redhat-5.2) alphas
if necessary, and other redhat-6.0 alphas if I can't keep this
one up long enough.
So egcs (rh6.0)+ 2.2.12? gcc-2.95.1 + 2.3.18 (or rth's newest
email containing similiar).
Any help appreciated.
