Redhat 6.1, and REDHAT QOS

In a recent register article (http://www.theregister.co.uk)
Redhat announces a release of RH 6.1 next week. Hopefully it
will fix a lot of the BAD things that were/are in 6.0

AnYhOo...... on to the point of my post, I have 3 alpha machines, all
running Linux. The are running RH 5.2, Craftworks (who is no longer in
business) and a 4.2 box that's been successfully updated to 5.1 and
finally to 5.2. I've installed and used Suse, Debian, and Slackware
distros as well. I've tried installing 6.0, but ran into WAY to many
problems, and backdated to 5.2

With all this Alpha Linux experience and after several VERY
frustrating disappointments (RH 5.0, 5.1, 6.0) I'd like to ask
Redhat to get some sort or QOS team together for Alpha Linux.
RH went public right?? They have some cash now, and it seems cash
well spent if your distro installs, and ping doesn't seg fault and
man works (*HINT*). I know RH doesn't write the code, that is why a QOS
team is a necessity IMHO

I have to say, that I really prefer the RH organization of most
everything. I like the way a lot of the scripts are written, and I'm used
to it BUT if we continue to have problems like this, then I'm switching to
Debian. Isn't stability and reliability why "we" chose Linux? 6.0 on the
alpha might as well have been a Microsoft release.

Here's to hoping that someone at Redhat is listening.

PS..

As an aside, Corel is releasing a Linux distro. I wonder
if they will support non x86 machines (i.e. alpha, ppc, sparc...)
there web site only mentions Pentium class machines
(http://linux.corel.com) Hmmm.
