Well, when one writes SW, one usually creates a test suite
that checks if the code gets the correct answer. Assuming 
such a suite exists, I don't believe it would jeopardize
anything. Depends on whether this is production SW or not.
If not, then the whole project would be "in jeopardy" anyway.

Without access to the source, it's difficult to optimize for
EV67 vs EV6 vs EV56 vs EV5 vs .....

One certainly would not want an EV5 binary on an EV67 if you
were interested in high performance. My EV56's do not run 
the same binary as my EV6's. Haven't recompiled for EV67 yet.
Need to see if that helps the performance ratio between a
DS10 and UP2000. Anyone done that and it helped??

What additional instructions does EV67 have that EV6 doesn't?
A URL would be acceptable for info.

Oh, UP2000 is an EV67 isn't it? If not, never mind...
