I could never get 3.3.5 to work on Alpha (with a Voodo that is). Have you
treied 3.3.6?

Yes, but I had to use the snapshot of XFree86 4.0 from the 3dfx site (just
an FYI I have found the pre-release to be very stable, it has a few
problems here and there but I've been using it for several months now with
a 16Meg Voodoo 3 :)
