Are you saying this for RH6.2 only? I use KDE on RH6.0/6.1
and it's worked fine. Graphics cards were permedia2, Matrox
Millenium I, and ATI Rage II's. Maybe it's an interaction
with specific HW, not necessarily just the graphics card.
Note I use NO sound on any of my systems as I've found sound
to be the most flakey thing in Linux. (YMMV)
