RE: Increasing the stack size

Well, I have solved the problem by creating an /etc/initscript which set the
hard and soft
limits there, that way all processes inherit the stack size I want.

Hm, the only one I am aware of is a Section 6.10, "The resource limits
module", of PAM documentation. (say in /usr/doc/pam-0.64/txts/pam.txt,
but there is a number of formats and versions will change depending
on your distribution). Does anybody has any different pointers?
