I think it's more an issue of whether a 64 or a 32 bit PCI slot was
used. I had the same problem on my DS3300 with the same card (ES1371).
I worked on the 32 bit slots but hung the machine when I plugged it
into the 64-bit slot.

might be a problem w/ exactly what PCI bus you had it on (dunno if a DS20
has multiple PCI busses)
