I guess there are timing issues depending on what other cards you
have installed, and in what slots. Funny though, I've only ever
had this problem on the DS3300. I guess a little experimentation
can be beneficial in these circumstances. :-)

It looked like all of the slots were 64bits wide to me.  I had a similar
problem with a 32bit OC-3 ATM card a few months back.  I couldn't get it
to work until I put it in the first PCI slot.  When I installed this
ES1371 card, I used the same slot that the 32bit ATM card worked in.  That
did NOT work.  Now, the ES1371 card is last in the chain of PCI cards and 
that works (in the slot the ATM card did not work in).  The first PCI slot
is now empty.
