Are you talking about the DS3300? It uses AlphaBIOS, and you can (and
in fact need to) get to SRM to boot Linux. There is an option called
Advanced Options (can't recall exactly but that should give you an
idea of where to look). Select UNIX SRM and power cycle. You'll come
up in SRM.

Do you have any ideas or ways to get into the SRM? or is it a lost cause
trying to install Linux on it.
