DEC OEM'd the DAC960 as their swxcr.. <or similar>, renamed later to
ra200 family. So there are DAC960 miniport drivers to allow AlphaBIOS
to boot DAC960, and some SRM's should support it too.

(but whether the UP2000 SRM would support it, unlikely i guess)
