Ok - it compiles well - but unfortunately it doesn't boot:

... and MILO loops trying to load the kernel over and over again.
Several -test1-acXX kernels worked. 

Alpha AXPpci33 'Noname'
gcc version 2.96 20000530 (experimental)
'MILO in Flash-ROM'
