Thanks for the patch.

With your patch applied to 2.4.0-test2-ac1 and aboot-0.7 I now see

Jun 25 16:52:04 d23-155 kernel: Memory: 252120k/261400k available (1266k kernel
code, 7232k reserved, 323k data, 232k init)

but it is still not quite up to the 255072k available with 2.2.17pre5+aboot-0.6
