SoundCard on AS250

Hi all. 

Sorry to bug you with a HW problem, 

but I run a DEC AS250 (4/266), RedHat 6.2, 2.2.15, and I want to activate
the soundcard. Some fellow told me to use the ad1848 driver with io=0x533
but that inevitably locks my machine. 

Anyone got the same machine and know how to determine the right settings for
the thing?
