ReiserFS (was Re: Benefits of Linux/Alpha over Linux/x86?)

reiserFS is okay, but i wouldnt count on running it on an alpha anytime in
the near future.  last i checked (a few months ago) it was a rat's nest of
unaligned data that would take a somewhat major redesign to fix.

i doubt it will get included into the kernel without being fixed.  or to
be precise, i HOPE it won't get into the kernel without being fixed.  it's
the closest thing to a functional journalling FS on intel, but not even
close on alpha.
