netscape + 2.2.16 weirdness

Hey All -

I just upgraded my ds20 to 2.2.16 and all of a sudden netscape won't work 
at all.  There was some talk a while ago on the list about netscape and
the True64 libs not working well with 2.2.16.  Did anyone ever figure out
a work around? 

I get this error:

XIO:  fatal IO error 22 (Invalid argument) on X server ":0.0"
      after 71 requests (70 known processed) with 1 events remaining.
