Okay, has anyone run into this one...?
I'm trying to get Red Hat installed on my AS200. It's got an old TGA video
board (an E1 I believe), the standard DEC 10Mbps Ethernet card that came
with it, 96MB of RAM, a 1GB Quantum that thinks it's a DEC drive, and a 2GB
Barracuda.
In any case, I'm currently trying to get RH6.1 installed since my RH6.2 CD
appears to have errors on it. On either a Custom or a Server install, it
gets to the part of setting the root password (which I do). The "input
box" portion of the screen goes blank, the cursor blinks, and nothing...
there are no messages on the other consoles that appear to be errors. The
last thing displayed that looks relevant is "eth0" (though I suspect that's
from the previous step of setting IP addresses).
Anyone know why I'm hanging *this* time?
