X Configuration?

Hi. I have two old machines (AlphaStation 250 and 600) with Redhat 6.1
installed and I'm having trouble getting the displays set up.  The 250
probes and finds "PCI Entry:  DEC/DECchip 21030 [TGA}, X Server:  TGA" but
still does not work.  I have no idea what is in the 600.....PowerStorm
maybe?  They both have the same old Digital 21'' (VRC21-H4) monitors also.
I was hoping someone could lend me their expertice.  Thanks.
