I am having similar reliability problems with my DEC AS3300. I am
experiencing random lockups. Doesn't matter if I'm in X or not. My
configuration is:
128M, IBM 18G DGHS HD, Matrox Millenium,
DEC PCI NIC, 3com 3C595 NIC, & SB16 ISA
I am running RH 6.1 with updates. I tri-boot NETBSD
and NT4 on this machine as well and they both run stable. I'm glad I'm not
the only one having problems. I guess this is why redhat lists this machine
as "compatible but not supported"
