I compiled XFree86-4.0.0 from the source tarball on my SX164, and am
using it now with a Voodoo3 2000/PCI I had lying around. I have not
tried any 3D stuff- yet. BTW- I'm no coder, but I'm willing use my
system as a guinea pig if anyone is looking to test patches to support
3D on Alpha.
As for the 'extract' program, my guess is it's probably an intel binary.
