[no subject]

It appears to proceed normally and then I insert the
root disk and it continues until I get  the following:

could not set new controlling tty
...
running install
running /sbin/loader
install exited abnormally -- received signal 11
sending termination signals
sending kill signals
unmounting filesystems
  mnt/source
  /proc
you may safely reboot now.


What may be causing this and how do I correct it so I
can install Linux?
