Excellent document!!!  I tried to get to www.alphalinux.org but it was
unavailable.  I will try again later this evening.

I am running 5.2 on an Intel and like it very much, so I might try to run 5.2
on the alpha.  Space should not be a problem - I have quite a selection of
disks.  I also have 256MB of memory.  Currently, the box in running 1.8 of
the firmware - looks like I will have to go to 1.7.  That should not be a
problem either.

I hope to be looking at this in detail this weekend.
