Hello Claes,
The usual way to start the installation is simply to type (anything
inside the double quotes):
"boot dXXN", where XX defines sort of the device type (it is different
for ide, scsi or floppy devices IIRC), and N ist a natural number. In the
case of my scsi cdrom on the first scsi controller is boils down to "b
dka4". (In SRM all commands can be abrieviated). To find out the device
name of your cdrom type: "show dev". From the output it should be possible
to find the srm-name of your cdrom drive.
The "b dXXN" should bring you into aboot. If that is not the case
probably your cdrom is broken or the drive is not bootable. (As usual I
am just guessing here... but at least my trusty old jensen required 512
byte blocks instead of the more recent 2048 byte blocks. At least that is
what I was told. This probably does not apply to the sx though.)
As aboot is the secondary bootstrap loader you have to get it
going in the first place. PLease let me know how far the given commands
get you. (If you reach aboot what is the result from "0" in aboot?)
Good luck
