Hm, I wonder how this is related to the very recent discussion with
subjects like "limiting IRQ load, irq-rewrite-2.4.11-B5" on
linux-kernel list. In your place I would check relevant discussions
in recent archives and post a detailed description to
linux-kernel@vger.kernel.org (and maybe 'cc' to main participants).
You do not have to subscribe to post there although you may not see
followups that way. :-)
Sounds strangely familiar and it may be much bigger problem than
Linus seems to believe.
