More precisely - if you want to write another type of a partition table
without wiping and repartitioning (in the sense of "changing partition
boundaries") then this is not trivial, not always doable, and if you
have to ask how you really do not want to know. :-)
OTOH maybe gpart (http://home.pages.de/~michab/gpart/) can be asked
to produce BSD type disklabel after it collected all data. Anybody
knows for sure?
