I was afraid you would say that. So I'm even more confused then
ever. The command I type at the milo> prompt is exactly:
milo> boot sda2:boot/vmlinuz-2.4.9-21 cycle=500000000
but when it finishes booting I 'cat /proc/cmdline' and see nothing.
It is as if milo is interpreting the command line, not recognizing
the cycle= part, and dropping it. I'm using a 2.0.35 based milo
that is fairly old. If the problem here is what I guess, does anyone
have a milo that I can try that is known to work on a pc164 w/ ARC
console? (IntraServer SCSI card.)
Tracking down such stuff is a little hard with alphalinux.org
in the mess it is in. Maybe someone with a pc164 who uses cycle=
can gzip a milo that works?
(The other possibility is to maybe install an SRM console. The very
thought makes me nervous.)
