I have recently returned to using Alpha Linux on my Alpha boxes, and I
am preparing to purchase an ES45. I need some fast SCSI storage.
Does anyone have any experience using U160 SCSI cards on Alpha Linux?
Specifically, for a machine like the ES45 (with a 66 MHz PCI bus) will a
fast Symbios-based controller (like the Intraserver 64bit 66 MHz U160
adapter ITI6200) work?
Compaq sells a 66 MHz U160 controller for the ES45 (kzpea). Will it
work under Linux?
