I'll give you a quick answer, and hope that others can give more details.
I believe that both the SYMBIOS 1010 and the Adaptec 29160 and 39160
have been successfully used here on ES45 under Linux with recent
kernels.
I don't know what the KZPEA actually is, but would expect it to be one
of the above, IIRC.
