funny that you mention that problem.  I have the same thing happening with a
Elsa Gloria Synergy running redhat 7.2 on an athlon system.  maybe the X
driver is no good?

I have an SX 164 533MHz workstation that is running RedHat 7.1 with XFree
4.1
(from RedHat's updates).  Right now it has an Elsa Gloria Synergy in it and
I've been having problems with screen artifacts and repaints.  What is the
best video card (as in most stable) that I should put in this box?
