Ted,
Try this... Don't try to pass the kernel any parameters. Just type:
>>> boot dka0 -fl 0
or
>>> boot dka0 -fl h
The first will use the default setting from aboot.conf on the cdrom where RH
has defined the parameters to pass to the kernel to get it to boot up. This
way you don't have to worry about typos.
The second will cause aboot to error out at which point it will give you a menu
to do a variety of things. Such as list all of the predefined boot options the
RH has preconfigured for you.
My system is settup so that everytime I boot, I can choose from 3 different
kernels and such, and the only thing I do differently is use a different number
for the -fl flag. Drastically reducing pilot error typos...
