It's on the mobo, I believe, and not socketed, thus non-replaceable.
Just to refresh my memory: this is on a PWS500a, aka MIATA, right?
Does it have a builtin QLogic SCSI controller on the mobo, or is the
controller on a card?
And the VX1 was installed into one of the 64-bit slots, right?
