Most likely yes, though I've not tried it (no monitors quite that good).

Oh, and remember, RH 7.0 had XFree868 4.0.1a and did NOT support VX1,
IIRC.  You really have to go to RH 7.1 (ie XFree86 4.0.3 plus patches)
to get the VX1 support.
