That's assuming the above x11perf component would be using the "arc"
primitives, which seemed (IMHO) to be the only part of the server
which would be likely to cause the FP exceptions.

Of course, x11perf may not trigger the FP exceptions the same way your
other app (the original cause for your complaint) does/did, WRT the
negative number passed to "pow" (IIRC).

Thus, you may need to run that original app on the new Xserver to be
sure the bug is fixed.

That's if I understand correctly what you're asking/trying to do above...
