I have a Belkin USB & Firewire combo card in my LX164. It's a OPTI 82C861
chip. I'm using kernel 2.4.17. It uses the usb-uhci driver.
/proc/interrupts shows it on IRQ 26. As far as I remember, the USB pretty
much straight out of the box. The only thing I think I had to set up was
the hotplug and startup scripts. I had to add a "insmod usbcore" to my
boot script before the mount of the fstab entries as usbdevfs needs the
core module. The hotplug scripts handle the rest...
