RE: Installing 7.1 on 164SX: MILO problems



Hello Rajiv,

You should
1) use the latest milo from ftp://genie.ucd.ie/pub/alpha/milo/  (or the one
from RH6.1) instead of the RH7.1 milo and
2) build a kernel with CONFIG_ALPHA_LEGACY_START_ADDRESS enabled. The kernel
shipped with RH7.1 does not boot from any milo because that flag was not set
during compilation.
These two points should fix it.
