As Phil wrote there is a number of things which are broken on these.
I know that first-hand. :-)  IMO, unless you indeed want to engage into
a bug hunting, generally most people will be at this moment better of
with an updated 7.1 distro.  At least some things are actually newer in
the later than on these already obsolete images and you are not really
missing anything crucial; ext3, latest kernels and XFree86-4.2.0 from
rawhide all fit well with 7.1 plus updates.

Installing beta images from February may also cause troubles with
updates in the future.  There are no guarantees that any of beta stuff
will "upgrade" properly with releases and indeed often it won't.  You
may end up in a somewhat messy state so do not complain later about
mystery problems and do not claim later that "the only way to upgrade is
to reinstall" as this is not true unless you will make it so.  But if
you are truly convinced that you know what you are doing then there is
no way to stop you now, I guess. :-)

If you will ask me what beta stuff from February is doing as "the
latest thing" in May then I have not the slightest idea.
